They have excellent dosa here – the sambar and coconut chutneys which accompany everything you order are also fantastic. Be warned: the place has NO decor whatsoever. You can take out, but there are a limited number of tables available. You order, then sit (if a table is available) and they will let you know when your food is ready for pick up at the counter. They also sell homemade (i think) Indian sweets. The ladoo are good. Wasn’t fond of the burfi, though.

Take out only
Everything here is vegan. They make excellent smoothies, very fresh, nothing powdered or artificial in them. We tried a small plate mix consisting of curried “chicken” with sides of okra and chick peas. I also ordered a veggie pattie. I wouldn’t get the pattie again (not spicy enough for me), but everything else was so good! I can’t wait to go back and try more!

I loved this place. It was small and cramped but comfortable enough. The food was excellent. I ordered a batter-dipped king oyster mushroom appetizer that was fantastic. We also tried the bi-bim-bap, which was tasty. It’s been a while since we’ve been there, but there was another appetizer special that included some kind of fake ham that was among the tastiest faux-meats i’ve ever had. Definitely one to go back to!

Excellent vegetarian food in a no-nonsense bistro style. The food was delicious and simply presented and their wine selection is amazing. They have the largest selection of organic wines that i’ve ever seen. The service is decent, and the decor is beautiful, if not a little too-hip-for-thou.

It’s a french-style bakery, it’s a mexican fusion restaurant, and it somehow mixes both quite well. come HERE for huevos rancheros, folks. and enchiladas layered with potatoes, grilled veggies, and queso blanco that are TO DIE FOR. and salsas that have some real hurt in them. but come also for their muffins, sweet breads, and cheesy biscuits – which brought us there in the first place. nice cafe atmosphere, very relaxed and informal.

I never know what I’m eating here, but at least I can be sure that it’s vegetarian. I’ve only had dim sum here, but they also have a full menu of entrees and appetizers. but the dim sum is SO GOOD. This is a great place for a crowd of people to come and nibble at many, many small plates. My favorite: the fried turnip cake. drool

This is the best Indian food I have ever tasted. Everything is richly spiced and prepared to order. I’ve been eating here for years and the owner makes me feel like family. I have brought all of my friends here at some point. I live in Queens now, but travel to Kenilworth, NJ for dinner here if i am craving Indian.
