Reuben's

I come here often. I usually get the house white (Chilean Sauvignon Blanc) though they do have a decent wine selection. I almost always get the French Dip sandwich, but sometimes get a Filet Mignon as a treat (which is also good). The fries are kind of like McDonald’s, in a good way—crispy, thin. The chicken finger appetizer is also good, but greasy. Lots of different desserts, but I rarely get them (though they look good).

We visited on a Saturday night, a hockey night. The room was packed but we did not have to wait long for a table, less than 10 minutes. It was loud from many conversations but you were still able to hear the person next to you.

Prices seem high in the menu, but portions are huge. My dining companion was satisfied with one appetizer for herself and a shared one between us.

Service was fast and pleasant. We enjoyed sitting beside the wall of wine, the bottles close enough to touch.
