The Food is Second to the Atmosphere
Downtown Greensboro. Driving in from 85/40 along South Elm Eugene Street the view of the cityscape is a mere 2.5 buildings. One would make a u-turn to exit the city, thinking BLAH, but you would be missing a few hidden jewels nestled at the North End of Downtown.
Cafe Europa is one of those gems, and the fact that it is in the Cultural Arts District of Downtown Greensboro makes this Cafe an Excellent Spot to visit during any time of the year.
The food for me was fair, but the excitement of the bustlling events (outdoor music concerts, families back and forth from the beautiful libray and the Arts Center)surrounding the outdoor patio more than made up for any missing garlic or onions.
The only things that could have turned me off (but obviously did not) were the snide and apathetic attitudes of the pimply faced college students serving.
The Cafe could do with a bit more personal personality but overall it was a great place to hang out!
