The food was okay as was the service. I gave only 2 stars because the place was nearly completely dark. I guess it’s great if you’re having an affair and need a place to hide. I was with my daughter and could barely see her across the table. It made me wonder if it was just really run down or dirty and they were trying to hide it.

Eggplant parmesan

This dish was fine but nothing special. It was hot and there was enough of it. I liked it better then the same dish at other local restaurants.

Fabulous atmosphere! Fabulous Italian food!

For a restaurant that has existed since 1980. I am quite surprised that no one from the Marietta/Williamstown area has reviewed this wonderful Italian eatery.
DaVinci’s has plenty of delightful atmosphere. We ate in the upstairs grape arbor room – complete with a wrought-iron grape arbor – that could seat about 100. Other eating rooms include the downstairs Fenton dining room (Williamstown is home of the famous Fenton glass factory.); the Tuscan Lounge for beverage refreshements; and, weather permitting, an outdoor deck area. Jamie, our server, provided excellent, attentive service and kept our beverage glasses filled. Italian music added to the ambience. Smoking and non-smoking accomodations available. Spacious off-street parking lot. Accepts cash and plastic.
DaVinci’s has built its local reputation on its specialty dishes — particularly the German pizza and Mona Lisa spaghetti. Plans are being made to provide their trademarked German pizza at local supermarkets.

Penne pasta

Mike & I ordered DaVinci’s penne pasta, served with marinara sauce. Very tender hot pasta, with delicious sweet tomato sauce! Served with garlic toast topped with mozarella cheese. Dinner was preceeded by a very nice salad of different greens, rings of red onion, cherry tomatoes, shredded carrot, crutons; both of us requested red wine Italian dressing.

German pizza

Nell ordered the dish that DaVinci’s is famous for — German pizza, the 10-inch size, served on a silver pedestal platter. This delcacy is a white-style pizza made with tender corned beef, savory sauerkraut and cheese with a marvelous German horseradish sauce. So filling & satisfying she couldn’t eat it all, that the rest was boxed for take-home.

Spaghetti Mona Lisa

Marilyn ordered one of DaVinci’s specialties — Spaghetti Mona Lisa. This is tender vermacelli in a delightful meat sauce, baked with mushrooms, mozarella, green peppers and pepperoni. Out of this world! Preceeded by a green garden salad with oil & vinegar.

Ravioli combo platter

Cheryl chose DaVinci’s ravioli combo platter — a delightful mix of racotta cheese-stuffed and beef ravioli in their homemade meat sauce. Green salad with ranch dressing preceeded. Fabulous!
