Out of the Fire Cafe

The initial reaction was inadequacy, the hostess could not tell us an approximate time for a table to be ready, her answer was awhile, we decided to sit at the bar and 2 seconds later she said, your table is ready. We were seated at the table as they were still clearing it. The server was pleasant and did bring wine glasses over and corked the wine for us. She did not tell us there was a $6.00 charge for her to do it, found that out later. We ordered the beet salad to share and it was outstanding, I had the pistachio crusted salmon and my husband chicken marsala with spinach, both delicious. The big problem was when we gave the server our credit card and instead of cashing us out for 73.00, it was for 293.09. The owner was not present, the servers did not know how to do a credit and the so called hostess manager had no clue, so she called the owner on her cell phone. He was rude and insulting to my husband about the charges and had the nerve to ask what the big deal was, then said, it will drop off in a few days, don’t you have enough on your credit limit. He gave us dinner free, not what we wanted, just wanted the correct bill for the correct amount. Would not go back based on his attitude. Informed the hotel and they had a similar complaint earlier this week. Judge for yourself and pay cash.

I had a house sald with roasted pecans strawbeeries adn fresh greens. also appitiser of little neck clam, bite of potatoes and chirozo ina pesto flavored broth.
My wife hd salomon ith a soy glaze. All was great
Apple /pecan tart wit vanilla ice cream.
