Authentic & Delicious Thai Food!
Over the 30+ years since I returned from spending time in Thailand I have only occasionally been able to find a Thai Restaurant where the food brought back memories of what I ate on a regular basis for almost 2 years. Thavone Mymala, the owner and operator of Thai Evergreen, is well-known in the local community for starting another Thai restaurant 10+ years ago and he’s back in town with his newest eatery, which is located across the street from Wal-Mart in Orem. I’m a big fried rice fan and Thai Evergreen delivers it perfectly! My family loves the veggie Pad Thai and curries, too. I eat at Thai Evergreen about once a week, sometimes dining in and sometimes via take out. Either way, Thai Evergreen is a treat not to be missed!

Chicken Fried Rice
Traditional Chicken Fried Rice, the kind that the Thais eat and what I ordered on a regular basis while in Thailand, seems to be hard for most Thai restaurants to get right, but not this one! A filling meal, what with the scrambled egg, chicken, and various veggies, you want to also add the naam baa (fish sauce) to get the real authentic taste. (Caution…just a few drops is plenty!) I’d drive across town for this dish…but fortunately I only have to go about 5 blocks.
