about 12 of us went to Scoreboards last night for fish due to Lent. Place was about 1/3 occupied; took 1.5 hours until our food came out; tables around us turned but still no food; starting asking about the hold up after 45 min, then a hour, then hour 15 – you get the picture. Then finally we start getting served 2 plates at a time and it took about 20 minutes to get food to the entire table; On top of all this, they ran out of sides which they told us once our food came out (i guess all those tables that turned around us ate our sides); food was borderline disgusting; the fish was old and fishy tasting; We asked to talk to manager or owner; a big fat guy with with a sleeve-less shirt comes out – really gross – he’d been cooking our food; He acts pissed that we’ve complained about the service and starts arguing with us telling us we were wrong about the time we came in and then tells us he’s going to fix it by giving us a few $10 off gift cards for our next visit – like we would actually come back; We ask him to at least comp a round our two of drinks because of the wait; he gets pissed off because someone at the table suggest he comps the meal and starts yelling that we’re going to pay for the food – Like we all got together for some scam we pull to eat old stinky fish and wait an hour and a half to eat with our families (we had about 6 kids there age 2-14). This fat owner just doesn’t get it – apparently he’s the new owner which you can tell never held a job in food service – Unless you like slow service, stinky fish, and rude ownership, don’t go here.

PS. there was one highlight – they sent a nice young woman out to give us our checks and she apologized Afor our experience – we told her she was the first one to do so and thanked her. She did the right thing and our waitress and the owner could learn from her.
