I consider Fellini to be a rival of Venezia, another nice Italian restaurant nearby on University Ave. While Venezia is probably a better date place, or to fine dine, Fellini has its qualities too. This restaurant offers many healthy and refreshing foods. Many of their dishes are vegetarian or can be turned into vegan. If you want meat, you can add chicken for a couple bucks. That’s pretty neat.
I decided to go with the eggplant parmigiana. It came with two large pieces layered on top of each other, and covered with cheese. The mix of cheeses on top gave it lots of flavor, and was kind of chewy, so you can enjoy it. The eggplant was done well, and provided a nice contrast to the chewy cheese.
This is a great place to go with a group, and if you want to eat healthy Italian food. The prices aren’t bad either, and is generally cheaper than Venezia.

Lots of gooey cheese and fried eggplant. mmm!
Mushroom Fettucini
I only tried this one, but this fettucini was much better than usual ones. The sauce was awesome and the variety of mushrooms added a lot. If it had chicken (which you can add), it’d be one scrumptious meal.
Clam and Garlic Pizza
A thin crust pizza with various cheeses, garlic, and, well, clam on top. They don’t use tomato sauce. I felt this pizza was light and refreshing. It was tasty, but in retrospect, some of the other pizzas probably would have turned out better. The clams were chewy and actually went well with the cheese though. The crust was crisp and also delectable. Also, it says the 12 inch can serve 2-3, but a big eater can easily eat the whole thing.
