Jema Restaurant

Jema is a true “gem” and should quickly rise to the top tier of Long Island’s best restaurants. I was there twice this past month, once for a business dinner and the other time for a social dinner. Jema certainly did not disappoint and both experiences were fantastic. The décor is open and light – the kind of space you only see at top NYC restaurants. The staff could not have been more gracious or accommodating. From the minute my party walked in the door each time, we felt special and attended to. Both nights our waitress explained the menu in detail and engaged my party in questions and answers about the interesting offerings. The food itself was innovative and spectacular. The scallops, sourced from Long Island like almost all of the menu, were the best I have ever tasted. The cocktail and wine menu is interesting and fun, with lots of creative offerings and many with a Long Island flair. I highly recommend you try Jema. This is “experience” dining at its finest. I cannot wait to go back again.
