Kai at Sheraton Wild Horse Pass in Chandler AZ
Forbes Travel gave this resort 5 stars followed by 5 diamonds from AAA to name a few of their awards. Located within Sheraton Wild Pass Resort this high class restaurant show cases Native American culture of the Pima tribes.
Locally farmed ingredients are from the Gila River Indian Community to create unforgettable dishes,tasts, and flavors..
Reservations are needed – we made a week ahead of time. Dress is smart casual. This would be classed as expensive but well worth your money. I love classy restaurants andthis is one of the best. What better way to celebrate one of my groups wedding anniversay.
Dishes Tried:
Buffalo Tenderloin
I started with a salad. The flavors were incredible: greens, feata, roasted eggplant with tomato confit. Drizzled with white honey lime sauce.
The main entree choices are really unique: lamb, elk, buffalo to name a few. Our group ordered a few of the dishes so I did sample most of them. All were so unique..I liked them all.
My main course was so tender. The bufalo was grilled served with smoked corn puree and cholla buds. Not sure I cared for the saguara-blossom syrup. Don’t think it added anything to the dish. Sometimes less is better.
I would certainly go back.
