Chicks used to be the best Roast Beef sandwiches in haverhill, went there tonight with my girlfriend and ordered a super beef, junior beef and fries. Not only was it 20 bucks (extra 40 cents for the side of sauce for my fries) but the sandwich was smaller than you could imagine. I hate to see good restaurants go down because they start going portion-control crazy. I would not go back there if I was starving and my car broke down in their parking lot, I would walk to King’s Roastbeef and get a real sandwich. If the owner reads this… Shame on you. Dont screw your customers because thats exactly what your doing, people have been going for years and you changed. When somthing is successful the last thing you do is change. Good luck, maybe when you go out of business I’ll buy it and do things the right way. I DONT reccomend them to anyone who can eat more than a childrens portion of food.

The staff is very friendly, but you can tell they are ashamed of the path the owner is choosing to go down. I would quit if I were them because they wont have jobs for much longer, I give chicks 6 months before they go out of business.
