Ordered sweet and sour pork…….I watched the pork in the fryer while she was on the phone. She then dumped it in a foam container. It was un-eatable !!! Tried an egg roll, cold and doughy……also terrible. I will never go back to this filthy establishment again. My 15 minutes of watching them cook and handle food is enough for me. Jim

Block! My lo mein showed up looking like they made some ramen and tossed it in the box with chicken gristle. The crab r angoons were straight sour cream cheese deep fried, and half of the egg rolls were burnt.

Something happened last weekend that’s been weighting heavy in my thoughts….A friend a I went to China Star restaurant in Wyandotte & dined inside. After we were there a little while, the woman owner started yelling (to the top of her lungs) at the poor young waitress (that didn’t do anything wrong to be talked to that way). The poor waitress was so upset she was crying. Not long after that, the man owner had the waitress tell us we needed to hurry & leave because it was time to close. It was about 9:20 when this happened & closing time was not until 9:30. Since we did not get up right away to leave, the man owner started yelling at us because he wanted us to hurry & leave so they could all go home. I have never been so upset & mistreated in a restaurant in my entire life. I will NEVER go back to this place again & I hope you will pass this on to your friends. The way they treat their employees & their customers is totally unacceptable & I hope they lose their business, so they can stay home all the time – it would serve them right!

Cheryl Dempsey That happened to us at R.P. McMurphys in Wyandotte a few years ago.The owner asked how we were doing and we said good,that we were almost finished and ready to leave.He said “good because I have other people waiting” I couldn’t believe it! I mentioned it to our waitress and she said “you should have to work for him” how terrible! It’s not like we were just hanging out,our bill was almost $200 worth of food and drinks…and it was my birthday.Haven’t been back and it’s been four years

Racheal Manthei Went in China Star and sat down with my boyfriend and the women owner was yelling at her cook and waitress and her son as they were sitting down in a booth. The owner was yelling something about her personal life. Completely didn’t even acknowledge us. My boyfriend and i walked out after 10-15 mins waiting on a waitress and never ever will go back!

IF THERE IS A BAD COMMENT OR COMPLAINT ON THIS PLACE THAT PERSON IS A HUGE TROLL/ RETARD.been going there for years. Cathay house-chop stick inn- golden dragon- hong kong on dix rd, they all dont hold a candle to this place, serving sizes are huge, value is awesome, very good taste and if you get rude people live with it ya baby, they bust butt 6 days a week and serve hundreds a day with only four to five people……hell even burger king/ olive garden or applebees couldnt do what they do and that food sucks most of the time… china star has fresh not packaged food and always prepared when you order it, its not pre-made or frozen before hand like chop stick inn or cathay house

I honestly can’t give them any stars… But since I have to I have no choice. Their food was terrible I wouldn’t even give it to my dog first of all. Secondly, they are the absolute rudest owners I have ever met! We usually come here for carry out a few times a month, but after what happened they had completely lost our business. My husband calls them to complain about the food and they yell at him and the ‘manager’ wouldn’t even tell him their name. So since we live down the street I return back their with the food (besides the crap that was sitting on the plate I didn’t think that would be appropriate to box back up) and I had three people get into my face practically and tell me they wouldn’t refund what I brought back nor even cook us new food for what we had brought back to them. I have been in the resturant business for 9 years and never had to deal with something like this. What I’m trying to say is save your money….. Your stomach will thank you later.

One of my all time favorites…haven’t had a bad meal yet. Been coming here for years. Sesame chicken is amazing and egg foo young is perfect. This is a family run establishment and they are very friendly and fast. Location is a hole in the wall but so worth looking for. I love this place and eat here all the time. You wont be disappointed.

A mega $5 bowl of soup loaded with chicken,shrimp, mushrooms and veggies then topped with a baked rice that sizzles when stirred in the mix,, you’ll think pop rocks and dig in the bowl is almost 2 quarts and a meal in it’s own. The almond boneless chicken and eggs rolls were good along with the garlic sauced chicken and another favorite the hot and sour soup,,,wow low prices lunch for 2 and drinks with tax under $15 and you’ll have left over’s LOVE IT
