What a treat!
Stopped in for a quick meal at noon time. The atmosphere, service and food are all exceptional. Wait staff was very accommodating and willing to make the experience worthwhile for all diners.

Cheddar Black Pepper Pecan Scone
Didn’t quite know what to expect with a combination of cheddar cheese, black pepper and pecans in a scone. What an explosion of taste. Heated up the scone for added flavor. Would love to try other scone varieties at this location.

Needed to try it at least once
Comet Cafe is on the list of ‘places you need to try’ in Milwaukee. I was glad to give it a try; not sure if I will return. The service was fine. Could have eaten outdoors on the patio. The atmosphere is certainly one of the selling points for the Cafe.

Buckwheat Pancakes with Blueberries
They were okay. Honestly, kind of dry. The blueberries helped but not enough for me to want to return for another try. There are other menu items that look good. However, the restaurant seems to rely on large portions without a lot of taste.
Wasabi Sushi & Lounge

It was okay.
The service was good. We had a large group. The waitress told us early on that she was new. It was okay. The atmosphere was a little dank. The restrooms were unremarkable and left questions on what the rest of the back rooms looked like.

Tempura Vegetable Sushi
They were fine. Our group was there on a night when all rolls were 50% off which made our meals a great value. Not sure if I will return; too many other good choices in our area.
West Allis Cheese & Sausage Shoppe

Woo Hoo for West Allis Cheese and Sausage Shoppe
Had the chance to enjoy West Allis Cheese and Sausage Shoppe in the Public Market. Although the counter service was a bit unorganized the food more than made up for any inconvenience. We ate outside to people watch and enjoy the July evening.

Grilled Cheese
Choice of cheeses (3) and bread made the grilled cheese a success. Generally not a fan of potato chips; however, the ones at West Allis Cheese and Sausage Shoppe were outstanding. They made the meal! Excellent!

Pleasantly Surprised!
Have driven by Milwaukee Beer Bistro several times on the way to other destinations. The restaurant seems to have changed hands / been under new management several times. The atmosphere was good for dining with a fairly large group, lots of other tables filled up, service was good. Overall, pleasantly surprised.

Mac n Cheese
Always look forward to mac n cheese when dining out. Was happy with the taste, presentation, serving size…a great meal after a movie with friends. Hope they continue to do well at this location!

Great meal!
Went to Harvey’s Central Grille after a movie with friends. Service was very good. Atmosphere was great — cozy but not too loud for visiting with friends. Would have enjoyed eating outside on the patio; perhaps another time.

Roasted Root Vegetable Salad
Lots of flavor and interesting ingredients. Salad was loaded with various root vegetables, greens and a tasty dressing. Great meal for an early evening time with friends.

Great Location for a FundRaiser
What a treat! First time at Milwaukee Burger Company. I will return. The service was impeccable — way to go Joseph! We had a large group with a number of interests. Joseph made the evening appear seamless.

Loaded Hash Browns
Chose the Loaded Hash Browns and enjoyed them. Lots of flavor, cooked just right, enough for a meal or as a side dish for any of the burgers. Great venue and service; our large group enjoyed our meals.

Working out the kinks?
Came here for an early evening meal with friends. Service was okay in a moderate sort of way. Although new, the restaurant was mostly empty which may say how it will be in the future.

Spring Rolls
Menu choices were limited for a vegetarian. The Spring Rolls were as anticipated and made for a nice meal with others. The peanut sauce was especially good and added great flavor.
Garrett Popcorn Shops

A Chicago Tradition!
What a treat! Our party of three sampled various types of Garrett popcorn before we each decided on our favorite to purchase. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Always worth a stop at Garretts Popcorn when downtown Chicago!

Gourmet Cheese Popcorn
It had been a while since I had cheese popcorn this good! A perfect pick-me-up / afternoon snack before an early supper downtown Chicago. My friends purchased caramel corn and butter popcorn which were also excellent.

Fun at Remington's
Stopped in for a quick meal after Hamilton. The service was very good; the food tasty. We would have enjoyed outdoor seating but a rain shower put the nix on our plans. Party of four — all had enjoyable experience with very good food. Way to go, Remington’s!
Dishes Tried:
Veggie Burger
Spicy, grainy and full of flavor. A slice of cheese added a bit of fat to the burger. Side of french fries helped to round out the meal. Bun was large and not an important part of the meal.
