location, location, location !
Clydz is by far my favorite New Brunswick bar in part because it is so close just across the street from my apartment building. Don’t drink and drive. Drink and walk.
It is somewhat less divey than some of the other dive bars in and around Paterson Street in New Brunswick.
The drinks are expensive so get someone else to buy them for you. Its usually crowded so its usually easy to find someone.
They have a nice selection of fine wines if you are feeling sophisticated.
They also serve food here. A nice variety. Again expensive so get someone to buy it for you.
Summing up this is a great place to take a date.

Naked Paleo Burger
I eat Paleo so I stripped my burger of the bun and had it with mustard not ketchup. The meat was just the way I like it and ordered it ,….semiraw. Lettuce plus Rutgers tomatos plus onion. No mayo. No ketchup. I think I already wrote that.
It was very good….5 Star Meat!
I washed it down with a vodka, some wine and a beer. It is a bar after all.
